German II: Accusative Preposition Practice

Hi you guys!

Tonight's homework assignment is the following:
From the ecofrau.com website, click on the quia link and scroll down to the Accusative Preposition activities.  There are 4 links, and within those links, a total of 7 activities.

Your assignment is to:
1. Pick at least 4 Accusative Preposition activities and do them online. At the end of each activity, write down the following information:
a). What you liked/disliked about the activities.
b) What did you learn from the activity? (in other words, what mistakes did you make that you now are aware of)
c) What was your final score?
d) Anything else you'd like to add...

THEN...
2. Go to Frau's Blog (where you are now!), which can be found under German II on the ecofrau.com site.
a) Post a comment to this posting including the above information for EACH of the four activities. If you'd like to have this page open while you are doing the activities, that might be the most efficient way to complete the assignment.

Viel Spass!!

German I Homework: Monday, Nov. 26

Let's try this out:
The homework that was assigned today in German I is:
a. Finish correcting the side of the blue verb conjugation sheet that we corrected in class AND re-do the other side with the knowledge that was gained by correcting the other side.

If you have finished this, or you want extra verb conjugation practice:
b. Write 15 sentences, using the same verbs from the blue conjugation page, but different nouns.

Come see me, or seek out another German student if you need help!

Welcome to my German Blog!

Hi you guys!

The word guys certainly doesn't imply that ladies are not welcome here, nor is it my intention to merely address the majority population in my German classes (83% male). It's just my way of greeting anyone who happens to land here at this here blog.

It's possible that you have landed here by chance. But more likely, you have been sent here by me, your German teacher at Pacific Crest, or have been linked to this site by another on the internet. My goal with this site is for both to happen: on the one hand, I'd like my students to be able to have a place to go on the internet where they can find a plethora of links to online activities and interesting sites that I have discovered for them. In addition, I hope to post their homework on this site, so that they have a resource at home should they forget their assignments.

In addition, it is my hope to host one of the many super stellar German sites on the internet, where other teachers regularly go to check out links and categories of impressive German sites.

But all in due time, I must say, for this site is certainly in its infant stages, and is quite experimental at this point. I may find that a blog isn't at all the forum that I need for this purpose, and will need a website instead.

But in the meantime, we'll try it out. You check it out, drop me your comments, and over time, I'll figure it all out.
Thanks for dropping by!
